ONLY SEVEN EXAMPLES ARE AVAILABLE TO COLLECTORS. The small figures green surcharge, colloquially known as "The Red Lady in a Green Dress", is regarded as a trial printing. The majority of the few surviving examples have some degree of toning due to poor storage conditions in the post office archives prior to their dispersal. |
