Another option, if you don't want to buy the Scott catalogue, you might find some free electronic version online. But in my opinion, you'd better spend some money on these catalogues because very few resources are free online and very old as well. Personally, I am using Stanley Gibbons catalogue and Chan's catalogue for reference. For Imperial , Republic of China and Taiwan part, Chan's catalogue will be much better.
